It’s clear that, when utilized properly, store credit cards can be some of the most useful items available. They can be implemented for the sake of earning money back on purchases made over the course of time. There might be even be certain options that are easy on interest rates. Whatever the case may be, it’s clear that there are many store credit cards to consider and Bob Jain would agree. After looking over a recent article, the option that Sam’s Club will offer may prove to be one of the best from a security standpoint.

Fox Business published an article that spoke about Sam’s Club and its new credit card option. One of the defining traits of said option, for those not in the know, is the embedded security measure that was added through a chip inside of the card itself. What this chip will do, as the report detailed, is keep instances of fraud down to lower levels. To say that this is a strong feature would be nothing short of an understatement, which I’m sure Bob Jain – as well as others – would agree with.

The report spoke about Sam’s Club’s credit card option would be set to launch during June 23 of this year. Even though it’s an option that I am sure many people are going to be vying for, one of the reasons why this card stands out is because of the fact that its security chip isn’t exactly prevalent in other store cards. What this means is that more people will turn to Sam’s Club for greater security measures. Would it be out of the question to consider that other retailers will take this particular cue?

According to many names in finances – Jain comes to mind – credit card options are common amongst many of the most popular retail outlets. For instance, one of said options that has gained quite a bit of attention during the past few years was the REDcard associated with Target. Even though these choices stand out, many potential consumers believe that their levels of security are not exactly up to par with what they expect. However, given the information offered by Sam’s Club, Bob Jain may believe this card to be worthwhile.

How popular will this card be, in the long term, one has to wonder? While Sam’s Club may not be at the same level of popularity as a company like Target, the truth of the matter is that the former still has its audience and there are many people that enjoy the idea of buying items wholesale. All that the store needs, from what I have seen, is an option that entails a heightened level of security. This may very well give Sam’s Club more of an edge as far as credit is concerned.
